The camera is evaluated at the object and continuously aims at the Earth's centre. Object, Earth and Sun share the same UTC epoch. Earth orientation, solar illumination, station geography, front/back classification and the impact endpoint are rendered from that state. A private offscreen backbuffer is presented atomically to avoid half-drawn frames.
The desktop application is self-contained, uses a loopback-only local web server and opens external MPC, MPEC, station and map links in the normal browser.
