Quick start
- Start VideoAlign.exe.
- Select a video and an output folder.
- Leave moving-object detection enabled for any clearly moving targets.
- Enable the spacecraft switch only when the camera was on a spacecraft; Earth-based processing omits all spacecraft metadata.
- Start processing and keep the log open until completion.
Input advice
Use the original recording. A rich star field, modest drift and targets moving approximately linearly give the best result. Only tracks reaching 99.9% internal detection confidence are retained. Output video is H.264 MP4; quantitative stack products are also available as FITS.
