The setup installs the GUI, the CLI helper and the local HTML help into the user profile. It creates Start menu entries below amrumsoftware\NinaOccult. The installer does not use an external shell helper at runtime.

The portable GUI is delivered as a ZIP folder so Windows can run it without a temporary _MEI extraction directory. Extract the ZIP and start DiscordOccultPipelineGUI.exe from the extracted folder. The CLI EXE is still provided for command-line automation and is also included in the setup.

Test Mode
This is Windows astronomy planning software in test mode. It generates NINA sequence files from Discord/TXT occultation lists and external ephemeris services. Please check generated scripts before observing. I am happy to help with problems, but support may take time.
The GUI checks update.json at most once per day. This request includes a random, stable UUID4 as installation_id; it contains no hardware, account, or personal data. If an update is available, the GUI offers the installer download and this download page. If a known update is ignored for 60 days or more, the GUI refuses to run until it is updated.
